2007 - Légère baisse ...
Britney sort son 5 ème album "Blackout" fin 2007, les sonorité sont très électro-pop !! l'album n'a pas un gros succès et se vend a plus de 2 millions d'exemplaire a travers le monde .
le 1er single est le célèbre "Gimme More" , elle se classe n°3 des billboard hot 100 aux U.S.A
Le second single est "Piece of me" qu'on a pas vu en france et le 3ème single est "Break the ice" dont le clips fut une animation (britney n'était pas disposer a aparaitre physiquement dans se clips

Britney fait une pause, l'ocassion de sortir son 1er best-of : Greatest Hits : My Prerogative avec 2 single : My prerogative et do something le premier qui atteind la 18ème place des charts français, le deuxième n'est pas sorti aux U.S.A. ce best-of se vend a 7.5 millions d'album a travers le monde. Puis elle sort someday ( I will understand), puis en 2006 elle sort B in the mix : the remixes, un album est que des remixes de ces meilleurs chansons.
